The Effect of BunDonHwan and Cofdyceps Sinensis Extract on Cancer Cell Lines and Immune Systemin L1210 Cell Transplanted Mice


Abstract
The purpose of this Study was to investigate effect of Bundonhwan and Cofdyceps sinensis(BDH) on the anti-tumor, immunocytes and nitric oxide(NO) production from mice peritoneal macrophages. This Study estimated the proliferation of L1210 cell lines, A431 cell lines, Hep-G2 cell lines, mouse thymocytes and mouse splenocytes and NO production from peritoneal macrophages in vitro. and estimated the proliferation of L1210 cells, thymocytes and splenocytes, NO production from peritoneal macrophages and body weight in L1210 cells-transplanted mice.
The result were obtained as foilow ;
1. BDH inhibited significantly the proliferation of L1210, A431, Hep-G2 cell lines in vitro.
2. BDH at 100¡É water extracted, inhibited the proliferation of thymocytes and splenocytes in vitro.
3. BDH at 40¡É water extracted, didn¢¥t inhibit the proliferation of thymocytes and splenocytes in vitro.
4. BDH at 100¡É water extracted, was increased significantly the NO production from peritoneal macrophages in vitro and in vivo.
5. BDH inhibited significantiy the proliferation of L1210 cells in L1210 cells-transplanted mice.
6. BDH didn¢¥t show the cytotoxicity of thymocytes and splenocytes in L1210 cells-transplanted mice.
7. BDH was not increased the body weight as comparing with control group in L1210 cells-transplantecl mice
